It provides information and guidance for prescribers seeking to initiate buprenorphine for the treatment of opioid use disorder using HHS' Practice Guidelines exemption. Utilizing the chronic care framework of addiction treatment, this one-hour, fully online module offers practical considerations for buprenorphine initiation, dosing, and ongoing patient management. Further, through interactive and application-focused learning, participants will explore the core principles of opioid use disorder treatment and the importance of language when treating patients with this condition.
