Meeting People Where They Are: Corrections, Telehealth, and OUD

This session addresses the implementation of a collaborative, replicable model for addiction care at correctional sites with a particular emphasis on workflow and getting all members of the team on board. Upon completion, learners will be able to:

1. Describe barriers to care of opioid use disorder (OUD) in correctional settings

2. Explain how a telehealth-based approach to OUD, together with certain roles and workflows, can successfully be implemented in corrections

3. Consider next steps the participant could take to develop this treatment approach in places where they can partner with corrections
