CDC's Project Firstline: Group Three - PPE Basics

Presented by Abby Carlson, MD, an infectious diseases physician, this educational activity is comprised of four (4) episodes designed to prepare frontline healthcare personnel and the public health workforce to protect themselves, their patients, and their communities from infectious disease threats, focusing on important personal protective equipment (PPE), including eye protection, gloves, and gowns. This series of trainings is intended to present not just the recommended infection control practices, but the science and reasoning behind them. The four (4) episodes that make up this activity are as follows:
