Coaching With the Appreciative Inquiry Model

1. Discuss ways you can prepare for coaching using the appreciative inquiry model
2. Describe the role of the coachee in using the appreciative inquiry model
3. List the benefits of using the appreciative inquiry model in your coaching sessions

Within the Coachee Learning Series medical students will learn what to expect from academic coaching. In this micro learning course about the appreciative inquiry model, students will learn how to use this model to discuss ways to prepare for coaching and to describe the role of the coachee, and will be able to list the benefits of this model in coaching sessions.
