Early Detection of ILD module
Time is of the essence in diagnosing interstitial lung diseases (ILDs) like pulmonary fibrosis, but the signs can be difficult to recognize. Delays in diagnosis, ranging from 1 year to more than 5 years, can have devastating effects on patient outcomes.
This interactive e-learning module will enhance your recognition and awareness of signs and symptoms of ILD so that you’re able to help improve the time to diagnosis for your patients.
Review causes for delayed ILD diagnosis, symptoms to watch and listen for (like crackles on auscultation), suggested patient workups, and recommendations on proactive steps to take, including when you may want to refer to an ILD specialist.

Decision-Making Tool module
There is no cure for ILD, but early diagnosis and treatment can slow progression and lessen the severity of symptoms, allowing patients to live longer with a higher quality of life.
In this e-learning module, you'll meet Harry, Michael, and Layla—three patients presenting with differing signs and symptoms that could be indicative of ILD. Through interactive scenarios, you’ll conduct a simulated visit with each patient and choose which actions to take, including completing a physical exam, ordering testing, referring to an ILD specialist, or providing treatment.

These modules are part of the Bridging Specialties™: ILD Clinician Toolkit, which also features an ILD-specific patient questionnaire, a gallery of diffuse lung disease videos, and additional resources to expand your knowledge.
