Abstract

Clinical Examples in Radiology (CER) online newsletter is provided for coding professionals to test their knowledge based on review of relevant modern case studies. In this issue learn how to code in the case of a 6-year-old female with GERD and chronic respiratory infections concerning for congenital for vascular ring who underwent a cardiac MRI with virtual reality. Apply coding techniques in the case of a 45-year-old female who has pain and swelling of her left hand and suspected of ulnar nerve injury who undergoes a neuromuscular ultrasound. In the documentation challenge, identify the proper codes to report a magnetic resonance study of the brain.
