This talk intends to help you understand at least three reasons why an individual may use techniques and tools to affirm their gender outside medical/medicalized options, develop an awareness of what tools and techniques are available for gender affirmation separate from medical intervention, and build knowledge of the safety and efficacy of these options as well as resources and information available for increased patient/client education and access.
