The IDSA Core Antimicrobial Stewardship (CAS) Curriculum was developed to provide infectious diseases (ID) fellows with foundational education and training in Antimicrobial Stewardship (AS), regardless of ultimate career plans. The self-study version of the curriculum is available to learners who are not currently in a fellowship program and seeking independent study of antimicrobial stewardship.

Now broadly available, the curriculum provides Infectious Disease (ID) fellows with a foundation in antimicrobial stewardship (AS) while ensuring we are training future leaders in the field. The self-study version of the curriculum is also available to learners who are not currently in a fellowship program and seeking independent study of antimicrobial stewardship. The full self-study curriculum is eligible for up for 15 credit hours.
