1.25 Credits CME

At this virtual session during the Academic Physicians Section (AMA-APS) November 2020 meeting, learn about the impacts on the residency selection process of 1) the single accreditation system for allopathic and osteopathic graduate medical education, 2) the move of United States Medical Licensing Examination Step 1 from a scored examination to pass/fail, and 3) the continued popularity of certain specialty fields versus primary care. This will follow a general overview of the larger impacts of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic upon the residency application and matching process.
