Association of Blood Transfusion From Ever-Pregnant Female Donors With Mortality Among Transfusion Recipients

Transfusion of blood products from female donors has been reported to increase mortality. This cohort study from The Netherlands reports that red blood cell transfusion from ever-pregnant female donors is associated with an increase in all-cause mortality among male but not female blood transfusions recipients.
