Association Between Time to Treatment With Endovascular Reperfusion Therapy and Acute Ischemic Stroke Outcomes

Randomized trials have demonstrated that endovascular reperfusion therapy is better than medical therapy for patients with acute ischemic stroke due to large vessel occlusion. This video summarizes findings from a real-world cohort study of patients with acute ischemic stroke in a US nationwide clinical registry that defines more precisely the time thresholds before which earlier time to treatment is associated with improved outcomes.
