Shared Decision-making Training Video

Symptomatic aortic stenosis is treated using surgical aortic valve replacement, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), or medical management. Decision aids can help physicians and patients choose between options based on shared information about benefits, risks, and values for health outcomes. This training video was produced to teach cardiologists how to implement decision aid–based shared decision-making in discussions with patients about aortic stenosis management options. Click the article link for full details of outcomes after training in a small number of clinicians and patients.
