Nystagmus Resolution Following Retinoblastoma Treatment

An 11-month-old girl with bilateral retinoblastoma displayed a questionable ability to fix and follow a moving object and sporadic wandering nystagmus during attempts at fixation prior to treatment. She was treated with intravenous chemotherapy (6 sessions), subconjunctival carboplatin in both eyes, and tumor consolidation with cryotherapy and transpupillary thermotherapy. This video illustrates that through the course of therapy, with regression of her tumor, she displayed improvement and ultimately complete resolution in her ability to fix and follow as well as in her nystagmus.
