Robotic System With Tablet for Mobile Evaluation of Emergency Department Patients

Many healthcare systems have expanded their telehealth capabilities to manage patient visits during the COVID-19 pandemic. Robotic systems can move between patients, rooms, or wards in an emergency room or hospital setting. This video illustrates use of one such system (Dr Spot; Boston Dynamics) developed to test the feasibility and acceptability of robotic telemedicine among patients.
