Coronary Artery Fistula With Postoperative Macroscopic View

A man in his 50s was hospitalized for acute chest pain and dyspnea. He was diagnosed as having ruptured cauliflowerlike aneurysm secondary to left coronary-pulmonary artery fistula. Emergency surgery through a median sternotomy was performed. The aneurysm was subtotally resected, the origin and drainage site of fistula were successfully closed with suture, and the left anterior descending and circumflex arteries were bypassed with saphenous vein grafts.
