Brain Fluid-Attenuated Inversion Recovery (FLAIR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

Axial and sagittal FLAIR MRI with confluent foci of hyperintensity involving the periventricular and subcortical white matter of both hemispheres, corpus callosum, and pericallosal interface. There was no noted involvement of the facial nucleus. These findings were suggestive of a demyelinating process, most consistent with multiple sclerosis.
