Focused Assessment With Sonography for Trauma (FAST) Examination

This video demonstrates the FAST examination for the rapid detection of intra-abdominal and intrapericardial hemorrhage in trauma patients. The video includes the 4 standard positions to check for free fluid in the perihepatic, perisplenic, pelvic, and pericardial spaces and corresponding ultrasound examples of positive results.
