Negative Staining of Hepatic Segment Using Fluorescent Imaging Techniques During Laparoscopic Hepatectomy

During resection of a hepatic tumor located in segment III, the root of the segment III portal pedicle is temporarily clamped and indocyanine green (2.5 mg in 1 mL of normal saline) is intravenously injected. All hepatic segments except segment III are clearly identified as fluorescing regions from 1 minute after indocyanine green injection.
