A Man With Hidradenitis Suppurativa, Hurley Stage III, and Myelodysplastic Syndrome

The patient had early hidradenitis suppurativa recurrence after local excision and also had myelodysplastic syndrome. To treat him, we modified intralesional cryosurgery by using an ordinary needle to inject liquid nitrogen directly into the hidradenitis suppurativa tracts. The aim of the treatment is to wash out the sinuses with a large amount of liquid nitrogen and avoid the formation of iceballs.
