Empower all persons to live healthy, love openly and achieve quality and inclusion by expanding your understanding of culturally competent health care.

Whitman-Walker Institute has been working since 1973 to improve the quality of and access to health care for LGBTQ+ people. Providers learn “beyond the basics” about topics in LGBTQ+ health and HIV care and prevention with Whitman-Walker Institute’s courses. Through these courses, professionals expand their understanding of culturally competent health care and help decrease health disparities and barriers to care. Learn More
